How it works
One-way film has a reflective surface. In daylight it's brighter outside than in, so people outside see a mirror while you see out clearly.
At night, with your lights on, that flips: the inside becomes the brighter side and people can see in. For privacy around the clock, frosted or decorative film is the better choice, and we often combine the two.
Because it's reflective, one-way film also rejects a lot of solar heat and glare, making it popular for sunny street-facing rooms and offices.

Where it works best
Rooms where you want to keep the view but not be looked at during the day.
Front rooms and bay windows that face a pavement or road.
Work by the window without feeling on show, with less glare on the screen.
Bi-folds and rear windows facing neighbouring houses.
Ground-floor offices and meeting rooms facing the street.

Send us photos of the windows and we'll tell you whether one-way or frosted suits them better.
