Too hot in summer, too bright to sit in
A glass roof lets in a huge amount of sun. Film reflects much of that heat back out before it builds up, so the room stays comfortable without blinds.
Cut heat and glare without fitting roof blinds that gather dust and block the view.
A room you can actually sit in on a sunny afternoon, not just in spring and autumn.
Blocks 99% of UV, one of the main causes of faded sofas, rugs and flooring.
Films for glass roofs, and we'll talk you through the options for polycarbonate.

Which roof film?
Reflective solar film gives the biggest cut in heat and glare. It has a silvered look from outside and slightly darkens the room.
Neutral tint softens the light with less reflection, for a more natural look.
Spectrally selective film targets the heat and lets most of the daylight through, so the room stays bright.
Send us photos of the roof from inside and out and we'll recommend the right film for your glass.

We check your glass first
Not every film suits every window. Before we recommend anything, we check what you've actually got from your photos and video, so the film performs properly and your glass stays safe.
- Glass type. Single, double or triple glazed, toughened, laminated or annealed.
- Coatings. Low-E and self-cleaning coatings change which films are suitable.
- Thermal stress. Size, shading and orientation, so the film won't put the glass at risk.
If we can't tell from what you've sent, we'll ask for one more photo, usually the small stamp in the corner of the glass. No home visit needed to quote.

Conservatory questions
Will film help in my conservatory?
Yes. Solar control film on conservatory glass takes out much of the heat and glare, so the room is usable through summer. For polycarbonate roofs we'll talk you through the options.
Will it make my rooms dark?
Only if you want it to. Spectrally selective film cuts a lot of heat while staying close to clear. The darker shades are for glare and privacy, and we'll talk you through how each shade will look before you choose.
Is window film safe on double glazing?
On most units, yes. Some film and glass combinations put extra heat stress on the glass, so we check what glass you have before we quote and only fit film that suits it.
Why does the film look hazy after fitting?
Film goes on with a slip solution, and a little moisture stays behind while it cures. A slight haze or small water pockets for the first few weeks is normal and clears as it dries. Leave it 30 days before cleaning.
