Modern office buildings on a city street

What film fixes at work

Most commercial jobs are one of these, or a mix of them across the building.

Glare & heat

Comfortable desks by the window, screens you can read, and less work for the air conditioning.

Privacy & branding

Frosted bands, meeting room privacy and your logo cut into the film.

Safety compliance

Safety film and manifestation to bring glazed doors, partitions and low panels up to Regulation 14.

Security

Security film for shopfronts and ground-floor glass, with frame attachment where the risk is higher.

Office corridor with glass partitions and frosted bands

Offices

Large glazed areas look great but can be uncomfortable to sit next to in summer. Solar control film cuts the heat and glare coming through, so the desks by the window get used and the screens are readable.

Inside, frosted film on glass partitions gives meeting rooms privacy without losing the light. We cut bands, patterns and logos to suit, and fit manifestation on glazed doors and screens so nobody walks into them.

Shopfront of a delicatessen on a brick high street

Shops & high streets

Sun through a shop window fades stock, packaging and displays. Clear UV film blocks 99% of the UV without changing how the window looks, so the display stays as bright as the day you set it up.

For shopfronts at risk of break-ins, security film holds the glass together if it's broken. Thicker films with frame attachment keep the pane in the frame, making forced entry much harder and slower.

Business questions

All questions and answers

Can you fit outside opening hours?

Yes. We can work early, late or section by section so the place keeps running.

What is Regulation 14?

Regulation 14 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 covers glazing in workplaces. Glass in doors, partitions and low-level windows in certain locations must be safe if it breaks or protected against breakage, and marked where needed so people can see it. Safety film and manifestation are recognised ways to meet it on existing glass.

Can you cut our logo into frosted film?

Yes. Logos, bands, patterns and lettering can be cut into frosted film for doors, partitions and windows.

Will solar film help with air conditioning?

Cutting the solar heat coming through the glass reduces how hard the cooling has to work in sunny rooms. How much depends on the building, the glass and how much of it faces the sun.

How much does window tinting cost?

It depends on the film, how many panes there are, their size and how easy they are to reach. Send us photos or a short video of your windows, with rough sizes if you have them, and we'll give you a fixed written price per window. You know exactly what you're paying before anything is fitted.
